My stay at the hotel was delightful except for the issue with the parking not being secure. The rooms were clean and comfortable with en-suites, TV, free Wifi, and tea/coffee making facilities. While a little snug, it was fine for a one-night stay, and the nice decor added to the ambiance.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially when adding breakfast to our booking. They were attentive to details like covering up holes in ceilings and carpets.

The hotel is in a good location just off Poole Quay, making it walkable from the train station and convenient for exploring the Museum, Twin Sails Bridge, The Quay, and numerous eateries.

The hotel was lovely looking out on the Poole high street, clean, and welcoming. The rooms could do with some work, as there were chips in the bath and a wonky tap. It was a little warm on the top floor. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were very helpful and pleasant, making my birthday night enjoyable.

The rooms were clean and welcoming, with a lovely view of the Poole high street. However, they could use some maintenance as there were chips in the bath and a wonky tap. It was a bit warm on the top floor.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant, making the birthday night enjoyable. They were courteous and responsive, making our stay memorable.
Location

The location is great for Poole high street. The manager even allowed us to have breakfast when we hadn't booked the day before. However, the place was disappointing as it had not been cleaned properly, needing personal attention.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was good with a good atmosphere, but some items were undercooked, and the black pudding was hard. It was decent but not excellent value for money.
Facilities

The hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere with clean and comfortable facilities. The home-made yogurt was a nice touch.

6.8/10

The hotel's rooms were uncomfortably cold, making it impossible to take a shower due to the freezing temperatures. The distant location offered some peace and quiet but posed challenges for accessibility, especially being pet-friendly. The dining experience was delightful with a wide variety of options, and the service, while mixed, showed kindness and thorough cleaning measures. Overall, the location was wonderful with nearby attractions, but the room conditions and temperature were major drawbacks.

Rooms
5.0
The room was freezing, and it was too cold to take a shower due to the bathroom being -3 degrees. The 'chandeliers' were an unexpected touch, and the distance from the main area made it quiet but inconvenient, especially with pet-friendly policies.
Service
6.0
The service was a mix of surly and aloof attitudes, but some staff members were really kind and helpful.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was amazing near Poole Harbour with convenient access to restaurants and shops, although the area could get noisy and crowded, especially during check-in/out times.
Dining
9.0
The dining experience was fantastic with a huge variety of options and friendly staff providing excellent service. The setting, possibly once stables, added to the fab and filling meals.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were good overall, but there were occasional challenges with the room conditions and temperature. Some unexpected 'chandeliers' added an interesting touch to the room.

6.2/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was perfect with convenient amenities, the room was small, noisy, and a bit overpriced considering the lack of comfort. The service was friendly overall, but there were delays during check-in. The dining options were below average in quality, but the facilities were satisfactory overall.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was small and noisy, located above the pub and restaurant, making it difficult to rest. The lack of adequate soundproofing led to disturbances from the street noise throughout the night. The room was quite warm upon arrival with no way to cool it down due to the absence of an opening window.
Service
7.0
The staff, although friendly, seemed a bit inattentive during check-in, as there was a delay in receiving the key to our room despite waiting and ringing the bell. However, once attended to, they were helpful and welcoming.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was perfect, situated in the center of Poole with convenient parking facilities nearby at a reasonable cost. It was also close to the harbor and within walking distance to various attractions, making it ideal for exploring the area.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was not up to par, with poor quality produce and limited options. However, the pricing was more reasonable compared to larger chain hotels in the vicinity.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel provided basic facilities, but nothing extraordinary.
